Discontinue the following (until after your appointment):
1 MONTH before your appointment:
-
Discontinue Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Hydroquinone, Vitamin C, Chemical Peels, and Retin-A 4 weeks prior to the scheduled appointment.
-
No Botox 4 weeks around the eyes and brows area.

Antibiotics (please contact us immediately if currently on antibiotics, a 14-day window is required between the last dose and your appointment in many cases).
-
Do not use AHA products close to the eyebrow area 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after your procedure.
-
Do not trim/pluck/wax your eyebrow, the more brow hair you come with, the better the results.

48-72 HOURS before your appointment:
-
Do NOT take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, and/or Ibuprofen unless medically necessary.

24 HOURS before your appointment:
-
Avoid alcohol or caffeine, this will minimize any oozing or swelling after the procedure.
Eyebrows Post-Care
Day 1: Do NOT wet in the first 24 hours.
Day 2: Wipe the brows twice: morning and night (avoid hot water directly on the brows.
Days 3-5: Leave the brows alone, allow them to dry up (during that time no makeup, creams, or water on or around the brows).
What to expect? / What is normal?
Days 1-5: Brows will appear darker and thicker. Scabbing forms over the strokes to protect the area while healing.
Days 5-9: As the scabs start coming off, they may appear patchy (be patient, it's just a few days, and the balm will help with the flaking and itching).
Day 9-12: The pigment under may look light or milky due to a thin layer of scar tissue. This is completely normal.
Days 12-21: The pigment will "come back" once the thin layer of scar tissue heals. The brows will appear darker.
** Absolutely NO PICKING your scabs!
